I used the Derma-Gel Hydrogel Wound Dressing Wafer by Medline on my father during his post-opt recovery. They are easy to use, provide enough moist for the wound site so the patient recovers somewhat faster than without it. Though they effectively keep the wound moisturized they are also highly absorbent and prevent any kind of leaking.

The doctor recommended we try the Derma Gel Hydrogel Wound Dressing when my father in law came home from the hospital. It went on well, and he never had any problems with infection, fungi, bacteria, or materials getting in his wounds. They stick to his skin well and the gel moisturizes the wound without making it sticky.
