These are great for any type of sensitive skin. They are thick enough, but at the same time allow the skin to breath. I recommend the Hypoallergenic Paper Tape by Medline to anyone dealing with patients prone to skin irritations. They are suitable to both, children and geriatric patients.

They hospital sent my son home with a roll of this after he got stitches on his leg. Since, he is two and always up and playing I was impressed how strong the adhesive was and how flexible it was. Since it was sensitive enough for his delicate skin, when I got a cut on my forehead I went ahead and used this in replacement of a band aid, and I was again impressed. I never felt it on my head at all. We now use it for cuts on sensitive skin, and ones too large for band aids.
